P.U.P. DECENNIAL

On Tuesday, March 26th, at 10:00 AM, in the Great Hall of the University of Sassari, a press conference will be held to present the tenth anniversary of the PUP - University Penitentiary Pole of the University of Sassari, which was established exactly on March 26th, 2014. The Magnificent Rector Gavino Mariotti and the Delegate for the PUP, Emmanuele Farris, will illustrate to the press the results achieved in ten years of activity, which place the University of Sassari at the forefront in Italy in the field of university education in prisons.

At the conclusion of the press conference, the signing of the third Memorandum of Understanding for the PUP between UNISS, the Regional Directorate of Prison Administration (PRAP), the Inter-District Office for External Penal Enforcement (UIEPE), the Juvenile Justice Center (CGM) of Cagliari, ERSU Sassari is scheduled.

The day will continue with a conference attended by Rector Gavino Mariotti and Delegate Emmanuele Farris together with Mario Antonio Galati, Regional Director of Prison Administration (PRAP Sardinia), Patrizia Patrizi (UNISS), Franco Prina (President of the National University Conference of Penitentiary Poles CNUPP-CRUI), Guglielmo Sacco, Director of the Inter-District Office for External Penal Enforcement (UIEPE Sardinia), Daniele Maoddi, President of ERSU Sassari. The responsible professors of the PUP for individual departments and degree programs will also speak.
