Commencement of PNRR Orientation Courses for High School Students

Studenti in un'aula di Dipartimento che partecipano a una presentazione dei corsi di Orientamento

On January 29, the orientation courses kick off, targeting high school students in the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). This initiative is designed to facilitate the transition of students from high school to university, thereby reducing the academic dropout rate.

The courses, covering a wide range of scientific and humanistic fields, aim primarily to provide support in selecting academic education, facilitating a better alignment between students' preparation and their future career paths.

With over 50 courses scheduled, the classes that began today will continue until April. The project has garnered the participation of more than 3000 students from 23 high schools.

This initiative reflects the commitment of the University of Sassari to promote access to higher education, offering tangible support to students in achieving their academic and professional goals and facilitating the critical transition from school to university.
